Beloved : Be-Loved

Wondering how and what should I blog this time.. Small revelations seemed to be popping up during the sermons today and they're pretty interesting.. But I'll touch on one coz the other one is my own personal revelation that draws me nearer to Abba Father.. It's about the Holy Communion.. All the pastors in my church had said the same verse every week when we had our Holy Communion. And my heart started to understand deeper when Pastor mentioned about it again during Holy Comm.. Anyway, back to the main topic..

During the 2nd svc, Pastor was sharing about the blessedness of Joseph. As we know that Joseph is the eleventh son of Jacob, and he is also the most beloved among all his brothers. We all knew that his father gave him the best robe to wear. Question was raised as why is he called the most beloved and also of all brothers, why the eleventh son?? Why number 11?

Something juz popped into my mind.. 11 is the first number after number 10. i.e. 10 + 1 = 11 and 10 represents the law. It happened that Joseph was born after the 10 sons. We all know that 10 is the numeric representation of the law. Joseph was the 1st son to be borned after the law. So, it was right after the law that he came. Joseph was also a picture of Lord Jesus Himself that He came after the Law was given. He came not to abolish the law but to extend grace to His people. He came to fulfill the law for all of us so that we now no longer live under the law. The law was given to show man's dependence for God and not to show how much man can fulfill the law. Remember the passage also, where Jesus was affirmed by the Father that He is the Beloved Son in whom the Father is well-pleased. Lord Jesus is the 1st Son, the firstfruit and the Beloved of the Father. Grace came after the law.

Next, most of us know that there's always an chronological order of things/events/representation in the bible that God always have placed. So what does that tell us too? We are the Benjamin generation, where Benjamin is the twelveth son of Jacob. We are also the beloved, and we are all in Him and Him in us. Lord Jesus came down to fulfill the first fruit of the new generation - ie the church. This was pretty cool when Pastor was asking the earlier question.. Well, I believed it was the Holy Spirit who showed this to me.. :D Praise Jesus!!!
