Romans 5:12-17 (NIV - UK)

12Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
13(For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
14Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
15But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
16And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
17For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

This passage of the bible started me off to think about our Lord Jesus and His Love. When I faced difficulties, stress, sadness, etc, the Holy Spirit prompted me a question saying, "What do I think of that One Man, Jesus, in the bible? What sort of character does He have? Does He give you fear?"

That made me sat down quietly to think and recall what Pastor Prince had preached and taught. It took me quite a long while to see the love Jesus had on me and my family. Whenever I asked of His Presence from Abba Daddy, I don't seem to get the answer into my heart - even though I've heard it many times before.

It was on Friday, when I had some time of my own to sit down and think of Jesus and his ministry before He died on the cross. It was never once that He ever rejected or scolded the people in an angry tone whenever they seek Him. He never heals, or raise up the dead, or drives out the demons UNWILLINGLY. The key point is He doesn't have the heart of unwillingness. He is alway willing to heal us, willing to prosper us, willing to sacrifice for us. His heart is never full of UNWILLINGNESS.

Remember Luke 5:12-13? A leper was asking Jesus if He is willing to make him clean and the answer that Jesus gave, "I am willing".

I have no idea how the passage in Romans 5 can actually lead me to thinking about Jesus and his heart for me but I still praise Him for showing His heart that He had for me. One thing caught my attention was the gift - the gift of righteousness. Jesus willingly gave us the gift of righteousness that He took the judgement of God upon His body on the cross for us. And whosoever believes in Him will have eternal life. The eternal life is not speaking only of our spiritual life but also of our life here on earth. Sometimes, I think of having material things on earth is life on earth.

How wrong I was to perceive it that way. In fact, life is not just about having material things. No doubt that I thank Abba Father for all the material things that He have given me. The main point is I thank Abba Father for more precious life lessons that I've learned throughout my life and that is how to be a peoples' person.

It is not about me, myself and Sharon. It's about people, other people and other lives. No doubt that my life can be very challenging at times - where I can curse and swear and scolding other ppl whenever they crossed too much into my path, but I still thank God that He did not take these into account for the righteousness that Lord Jesus had freely and willingly given to me.

After Adam fell, the entire world plunged into sin and the world was dead (as in spiritually dead). But after Lord Jesus carried our sins on the cross and rose again to sit on the throne at our Father's right hand, we are justified by His blood that we are fully righteous. Why did Lord Jesus want to do this? He did it because He loved us all. He doesn't want any souls to perish coz He is the One who created us all. We are His birthright possessions and He never despised us despite our failures.

Well, I'm truly blessed in life and I just want to praise Jesus for His love for me and His willingness to bring me out of trouble, to heal me, to comfort me, to strengthen me, to give me wisdom, etc.. Him and His Willingness.. Him and His Love.. Him and Him alone.. Lord Jesus, my Savior, my Life giver and my Restorer of all things who provides everything I want.

Thank you Lord Jesus.. :)
