Copper-Black Betta

Gee.. it's been an awfully long time since my last update. Well, what happened?!?! MIA?!?! Or rather... nah.. not exactly MIA.. I've been SIA (Swimming In Action). I was under extreme stress for the past few months due to work and to overcome that, I have been working out in the pool and trying to breed some guppies. Now I have 12 guppy "disciples" in one of my fish tanks. kekeke..

Bettas are the latest interests that I had and now I have 3 males (1 of them is in my office.. Poor bloke.. no partner yet..) and 2 females.. kekeke.. trying to breed them.. Unfortunately, I do not know where I can get food for the fries (if they come along one day).. God, help!!

Well, first let's meet Nick, my Copper-Black betta. He sure is a loadful of prideful fish, flaring up his tail and fins, chasing after her lady (who kept darting away from him).. hmm.. In no time, they are going to mate!! ** proclaiming **

Ok, now meet Slack, my 2nd Red betta. He is a little shy and sadly, his tail got nipped by his lady.. Hmm.. * female power!!* He's rather cute and quite lazy..

Bettas are the most interesting fish. They are different from the normal kind of aquarium fish where they like to peek and look at ur movements. They tend to be a little inquisitive about their surroundings. The best thing abt them is you don't need to provide them with air pump as they have special gills (known as labyrinth) to enable them to get oxygen from the air we breathe.. Just like our lungs..

Now.. I'm waiting for them to spawn... ** Grins **
